Old Dalby Village Hall
Old Dalby sits on the edge of the wolds and in the Vale of Belvoir in North West Leicestershire. Its iconic village hall is on Main Street is at the heart of the village. Standing over 150 years and originally a school house the hall continues to be the thriving centre of the community. Many older villagers were taught at and have fond memories of the school so much so that a photographic exhibition featuring the school/ hall and its history was organised in mid 2017 by one of the older residents to help raise money for the Village Hall Refurbishment funds. The Village Hall is at the centre of the Conservation area forming a natural triangle with the church and village green.

Old Dalby Village Hall News
The Old Dalby Ensemble has been created by Tim Heywood from musicians resident in the village. They will accompany singers on the village green in several carols. Bring a torch to read from a carol sheet and make sure you have warm clothing and waterproof footwear. If the weather is just too cold, windy and wet the village hall will be available. It’s rumoured that the ensemble might retire to the pub afterwards for a warming beverage. Everyone welcome.
